Eco Mode

Save up to 87% of energy.

One press — and the towel rail heats only when you need it: 3 or 6 hours a day instead of around the clock.

Dry towels. Not the air.

An electric towel rail is rarely the main heating in the bathroom — so why keep it on 24 hours a day?

The idea

It takes about 3 hours to dry a towel completely. Six hours of heating is enough to dry towels twice a day in the morning and at night. The remaining 18 hours the towel rail works in vain. Eco Mode uses it only when necessary and cuts energy consumption by 4 to 8 times.

In numbers

Less time on. Same dry towels.

How to enable

Three steps to Eco Mode.

Works on Mario timer-regulators with the Eco Mode function. Check yours — it may already have it.

01 / 03

  1. 01

Press and hold the timer button

Keep holding it while you press the temperature button.

  2. 02

    Release both after 5 seconds

The towel rail switches off — this confirms the mode has changed.

  3. 03

    Turn it on as usual

Done: the timer now runs for 3 or 6 hours only. Repeat the same steps to return to constant heating.
