Calculate product costs and material consumption standards, set labour standards and work out piece-rate pay for production staff.
Mario® is a modern Ukrainian manufacturer creating towel rails and designer radiators for the Ukrainian and international markets. We are looking for a Production Economist to join our team.
If you enjoy working with numbers, analyzing product costs and understanding how economics works within a real manufacturing environment, we would be happy to meet you.
01What you will do
- Calculate product costs and cost estimates
- Work with material consumption standards
- Calculate time standards, output rates and piecework rates
- Participate in calculating production employees’ wages
- Analyze costs and identify the causes of deviations
- Work closely with production, process engineers and the accounting department
02You are a good fit if you
- Have experience working as an economist in a manufacturing environment
- Understand how product costs are formed
- Are confident working with Excel
- Have experience working with BAS or a similar accounting system
- Like keeping numbers organized and can see more than just a spreadsheet
